Votation 2032 – The Synthetic Campaign

An interactive experience to think about public space, democracy and freedom of expression in the age of AI

The year is 2032. A Geneva cantonal initiative goes to the ballot in three months: it asks the canton to stop supporting companies that develop autonomous weapons systems. Three months of campaigning, condensed into three hours. You are given a role – committee, authorities, press or public – with a mandate, limited resources and generative-AI tools to make your case. No technical knowledge and no prior opinion required; roles are assigned on the spot.
