News flash!

On March 9th we brainstormed ‘The Green Loop Project’, after the success of our first innovation roundtable.

The GreenLoop project

👉 Turn single-use, event-branded lanyards and badges into a shared, circular service for UN agencies and international organisations.
👉 Start with organic, re-usable lanyards and recyclable badge inserts.
👉 Then layer on a unified digital registration platform and CO₂ tracking integrated with the UN Green Events Tool, so every conference can measure and report its real footprint.

It was encouraging to see how many people immediately recognised the problem (“we throw away boxes of lanyards after every event”) and were keen to explore pilots and partnerships

The graphic below highlights the process ge-ni is using to support innovation projects in the international community of Geneva. From our first mapping study in 2024, we are now helping to bring to life innovative ideas from the community.
