🌍 Imagine it’s 2030, and Geneva has become a leading ecosystem for sustainable innovation. What were the decisive steps that made this possible?
💡 Our community explored this question at the launch event of ge-ni – the Geneva Network of Innovators. https://ge-ni.ch/
🤝 ge-ni provides a collaborative framework that unites innovators across International Geneva. It is designed to be co-owned and aims to break down silos — connecting the right people, ideas, and initiatives, at the right time. Geneva Macro Labs is delighted to provide the dynamic platform for this multistakeholder engagement.
🙏 A big thank-you to all those who have already joined forces to shape the road ahead for innovation in Geneva! A special thanks to the Canton of Geneva for hosting our kick-off event on 2 October 2025 and for supporting ge-ni — especially Beatrice Ferrari, directrice des Affaires internationales, and Bénédicte Gilbert, Chargée de projets.
🧠During the opening remarks, networking, and our design thinking workshop, we also addressed topics such as:
Under the recent pressures on International Geneva, how have the main challenges for sustainable innovation changed?
What must be addressed as a priority?
What if we shaped collective funding proposals?
🚀 We look forward to further discussing this and defining a common roadmap together. By creating the right conditions for exchange, ge-ni aims to accelerate projects and initiatives across institutions and disciplines.
✨ Let’s join forces and empower International Geneva — together!
